Here's my small collection of Canthan Crude Axes. Also, I present my Curses Wayward/Straw Effigy set. I've been hoping for years to get a 40/40 set on these skins, but I think this is the closest I'll get. I hope to grow my 3-attribute item collection and eventually post that here as well, but I'm currently far too lazy!

I would show off some of my stuff but can't figure out how you do the post pic thingy. Loveing the collections and wish I could get some r8 drops lol

Anyways I do have some stuff if anyone needs to add to there collections,mostly are r9's and alot of cool looking skins but i am out of room now and really have lost intrest in collecting stuff
. One lot of stuff are some dragon spire staffs 5 in total if anyone is collecting them .
Also have alot of sheilds.
I would love to see them get homes and they are free, so if you need something grab me in game same name as here.

I'm sure Yawg can explain you a lot better than I can, but it has to do with the monster levels. The monsters you kill to get the Magma's are lvl28 in NM, which is too high to drop gold q8 max stuff, they can drop blue and even purple q8 max stuff (have seen it drop even in DoA HM, with all monsters being lvl30), but gold stops at a certain level I think. I know for a fact that q8/16 gold things can't drop in DoA, so I figure the same goes for the rest of the realm of torment.

I did that magmas farm A LOT back in the day, but most of the time I spent in HM, so more testing would certainly be useful.

I wanted to say that I have seen a couple gold, r8 items drop from those chests (that spawn with the titans during the quest), so I would think it possible...

for q8 drops I´d say Monsters in Realm of Torment will neither drop gold nor purple q8, the chests in nm tho should drop both - good luck getting the gold max q8 magmas!
